The Casa Caterina and the holiday home Casa Fiore are located in the hamlet of Porta, about 150 m above the water level of Lake Maggiore. It can be reached by car from Locarno (15-20 minutes) / Ascona in the direction of Italy. After the village entrance of Brissago, turn right at the first street (Via Costa di Dentro)

By train you can travel every hour from Zurich or Basel through the Gotthard Base Tunnel (world's longest tunnel - 50 km long) via Bellinzona to Locarno. From Locarno station, bus number 316 runs every hour and every half hour at peak times via Ascona to Brissago.

From the bus stop "Brissago Municipio" you either take a taxi (Prato Taxi, costs CHF 12, Tel. 079 331 33 33) or 5-6 times a weekday (not on weekends) the local bus no.8, which takes you to the front door (Brissago Porta).
